Find all safe squares: Uncover every tile that does not contain a mine.
Avoid mines: If you click a square containing a mine, you lose immediately.
Numbers as Clues: When you uncover a square, it may show a number (1–8). This number tells you exactly how many mines are in the eight squares immediately surrounding it.
Empty Squares: If a square has no adjacent mines, it will appear blank and automatically clear nearby safe squares in a chain reaction.
Flagging: If you are certain a square contains a mine, right-click (or long-press on mobile) to place a flag. This prevents you from accidentally clicking it.
